If I could give Taylor Trading negative stars, I absolutely would. Let me save you the trouble and tell you now—do not waste your time, money, or sanity dealing with this place. It all started when I found a C63 AMG online that Taylor Trading was selling. At first, I thought it was promising—little did I know, that was the last moment of my experience that wasn’t an absolute disaster. The moment I called in to inquire about the car, Nick (the owner) was rude, dismissive, and had absolutely no interest in answering any questions. Every phone call was a chore for him. But that was just the beginning of this nightmare. When I went to actually see the car, Nick stood at the door like I was an inconvenience, practically refusing to engage. He told me not to touch the car because it had an immobiliser. Newsflash: I know how immobilisers work, and they don’t prevent you from touching anything inside. But sure, I’ll play along. Then, when I asked to see the paperwork, he gave me a look as if I was asking for the moon. I asked if there were more documents and his response? "If there were more, it would be in front of you, wouldn’t it?" in a wonderfully sarcastic tone, not just trying to get some basic information. The whole thing screamed, “Get out of my house,” from start to finish. And the cherry on top? When I asked to take the car for a test drive, Nick told me my insurance wasn’t good enough. I’m covered up to several million pounds for any vehicle due to my work, but that didn’t matter. After some back-and-forth, I suggested my father drive so I could listen for any potential issues. Nick was downright rude to him during the drive—what a charming guy. When we made a offer on the car, just £1,500 less than the asking price, Nick’s response? "Keep your money, enjoy the drive home, and good luck finding another one," said in an aggressively dismissive tone. But wait, there’s more. After we left, he called us to say he’d "decided" to accept our offer. Well, that’s mighty generous of him. Fast forward a month, and surprise! The car developed a coolant leak. I contacted Nick immediately, only for him to be completely unhelpful and combative. He told me to let him know once the garage figured out the issue. When they discovered it was a radiator problem, he said he’d get back to me. A WEEK later, after I called him again, he lost it. I’m talking a full-on meltdown, accusing me of ruining his week, calling me a terrible person, and having the nerve to say he never authorized the car to be disassembled. Well, I’m not sure how you find a coolant leak without taking a few things apart. To top it all off, Nick proceeded to call me every name under the sun, all because I was trying to get the issue resolved. It’s beyond clear this man has no understanding of customer service or basic human decency. In the end, his son came through and approved the repair payment. But honestly, I wouldn’t trust Nick to run a lemonade stand, let alone a business. He’s rude, unprofessional, and completely unqualified to interact with customers. Either this man needs serious lessons in basic human interaction, or he needs to close down shop and save everyone the misery of dealing with him. No one deserves to be treated the way I was, and I sincerely hope no one else has to go through the absolute hell of working with Nick. **Do yourself a favour: run far, far away from Taylor Trading.**
